BECOME A VOLUNTEER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD

CASA for Kids offers several types of volunteer opportunities designed to help support the CASA for Kids mission.  Your help in any one, or more of these areas does  "help make a difference in the life of a child!"

This volunteer role is the heart of our mission.  These Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA Volunteers, are trained to fullfill this important role then assigned one case which involves one family.  These volunteers work as fact-finders by developing a relationship with the child(ren), their family and others who touch their lives.  Volunteers write reports for the judge prior to a hearing, working as that extra set of "eyes and ears" to provide the judge with as much information as possible prior to the judge rendering a decision.  Please see our Events and Calendar section for dates of CASA training classes.

Not everyone feels that becoming a Child Advocate is the right fit for them, so, additionally CASA for Kids has a variety of other volunteer opportunities that help support the mission of the organization:  Special Events Volunteers, Computer Specialist, and Fundraising Volunteers.  These volunteer opportunities are important to the organization by helping CASA for Kids run more efficiently and effectively.
