CASA for Kids, Inc., is a local, non-profit organization that trains community members to become Court Appointed Special Advocates who will speak up for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the Courts of Washington County. CASA volunteers review records, research information and talk to everyone involved in a child’s life and then present their recommendation to the court as to what they feel is in the best interest of the child. Judges rely heavily on this fact-based testimony to make a more informed decision on the child’s future.
When a child has a Court Appointed Special Advocate to speak for them, a child's time in dependent care is reduced, delinquency is less likely, and the Child has a better
chance to bond with a permanent home. CASA for Kids is located at 30 East Beau Street,
Suite 417, Washington, PA 15301.
"To give a child a CASA is to give them a voice,
To them a voice is to give them hope,
And to give them hope is to give them the world."

Please consider these statistics:
- Each year, over 3 million children are reported as victims of abuse and neglect in the U.S.
- Over 300 are living in Washington County and declared dependent in the juvenile system.
- These children need your help to give them a voice in the court system and to speak up for their best interests!
- You can make a difference in a life of abused/neglected children by making sure they do not get lost in the system and have a voice in court.
